About The Position

We are seeking a Mid/Senior IT Support Specialist. You'll provide part-time (0.50 FTE) IT support to the PEO IWS 2.0 Above Water Sensors Directorate, supporting day-to-day IT operations and NIPR/SIPR sustainment activities. This role supports a large population of government and contractor personnel and requires strong customer-service skills in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment. The position requires on-site support 2–3 days per week at the Washington Navy Yard, within an 8-hour window between 0730 and 1800.

  • Excels in customer-facing IT support, with emphasis on NIPR/SIPR sustainment operations
  • Demonstrated ability to support high-volume user environments
  • Proven reliability, professionalism, and strong communication skills
  • Required Clearance : Secret

Nice To Haves

  • Current Common Access Card (CAC) (strongly preferred)
  • Experience supporting a DoD Program Office environment
  • Experience serving as a Local Registration Authority (LRA) for a Department of the Navy organization

Responsibilities

  • Provide end-user support and troubleshooting for NMCI environments
  • Assist with onboarding of new personnel, including IT equipment setup, account provisioning, and access coordination
  • Support technology refresh efforts, including Windows 11 migrations and iPhone upgrades
  • Perform device deployment activities, including Windows 11 imaging, iPhone issuance, basic troubleshooting, and stakeholder coordination
  • Manage NIPR account actions, including account creation, re-enablement, dormant account verification, and troubleshooting
  • Support SIPR token lifecycle management, including new issuance, PIN resets, replacement of expired or lost tokens, revocations, troubleshooting, and dormant account verification
  • Provide support for Global Video Service (GVS) meetings for IWS 2.0 customers
