About The Position

Dev Technology Group is hiring a Mid-Level Business Analyst to support this team with an enthusiasm for detail-oriented and transparent client and team support. The successful candidate will enjoy supporting the operational needs of a software development team and demonstrate excellent communication skills, an ability to work within a team, and a desire to achieve accurate results. The ideal candidate has a development background with exposure to React, Node.js, and GitHub. They will be able to work independently and in coordination with other team members and other intersecting teams, and be ready to dive in with any tasks needed to complete the work. Dev Technology is a growing IT company with an employee-centric culture that works on mission-critical projects for the federal government. We partner with our federal customers to deliver technology services and solutions, and to drive our client’s missions forward through innovation. We use Agile and DevSecOps principles to provide services including application development, biometrics and identity management, cloud and infrastructure optimization, IT and legacy modernization, and data management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of related experience
  • Demonstrates attention to detail, a high degree of maturity and professionalism, and logical thinking; excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to resolve issues, strong organizational skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Development/technical background with exposure to React, Node.js, and GitHub
  • Experience with AWS Cloud Tools
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Desire to work with a team in a wide variety of capacities to ensure team success
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing clearly
  • Excellent diplomacy and communication skills with both clients and technical staff
  • Ability to collaborate with team members to ensure client needs and expectations are met or exceeded
  • Ability and desire to work independently, provide ideas for process improvement
  • Ability and desire to help guide others in their career development needs
  • Ability to obtain the required government security clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship

Responsibilities

  • Assist in gathering and documenting requirements
  • Support the team in the creation of wireframes
