About The Position

Mayvin is currently seeking a part-time Mid-Level Executive Assistant to support Senior Executive Service (SES) management. This position is in the Procurement Division (PD) and directly supports the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS). Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must undergo a Background Investigation (BI)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Five (5) years supporting C-level executives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong, trusted relationships with senior leaders, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders
  • Proven skill in gathering, synthesizing, and organizing information from multiple sources to support executive decision-making
  • Experience preparing statistical analyses, reports, and performance evaluations that inform operational and program effectiveness
  • Consistent ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and maintain the highest level of confidentiality

Responsibilities

  • Prepare executive-level correspondence, briefing materials, and reports supporting program operations
  • Manage calendars and meeting logistics for multiple senior leaders
  • Review and validate program documents, including invoices and financial records, for accuracy and completeness
  • Collect, analyze, and report weekly accomplishments and key performance data
  • Conduct research to support policy implementation and program decisions
  • Maintain automated records and databases to ensure data accuracy and accessibility
  • Receive and process inquiries and documentation, ensuring proper routing and timely follow-up
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and complete post-travel expense reports in accordance with agency and Federal Travel Regulations (FTR)
