About The Position

The Squires Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to provide Microsoft Project Engineering support for our local client. This role is primarily remote, with occasional in-person company meetings and events within the DC metropolitan area. Candidates must be local to the DC area.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years of customer service or service-industry experience.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant engineering or technical experience working with Microsoft platforms and technologies.
  • Microsoft Certications required.

Nice To Haves

  • 4+ years of Managed Services Provider (MSP) experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Strong experience administering and troubleshooting the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including but not limited to SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, Entra ID, Intune, and related services.
  • Proven experience administering, deploying, and configuring Azure services, including Azure Compute, Azure Networking, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Windows 365, and Entra ID.
  • Experience configuring, managing, and monitoring Microsoft Defender XDR.
  • Hands-on experience supporting and delivering projects such as email migrations to Microsoft 365, SharePoint migrations, Entra ID migrations, Microsoft Intune configurations (including Mobile Device Management), and Microsoft Teams Phone deployments.
  • Experience with the configuration, administration, and deployment of firewalls, switches, and wireless access points (WAPs).
  • Ability to support and assist with onboarding new customers.
  • Willingness and ability to provide support desk assistance as needed.
