About The Position

The Project Manager will work in collaboration with the Client Service Director to support Microsoft’s Partner Readiness team on the global roll out of their display fixtures with specific responsibilities with North America retailers. Duties include final accountability for overall success of program, recommendations; client communication, strategic recommendations and coverage plans; and ongoing success and value of program. This role should be able to analyze results and make strategic decisions in consultation with the client and Sr. Management. Our ideal candidate brings a strong project management background with previous operations management and execution experience in a complex vendor agency setting. This role will have high visibility to our Microsoft client, so the right candidate must have excellent standards of client interaction and communication as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with both partner agencies and internal stakeholders/colleagues. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of industry and agency experience
  • Proven track record of success in client service and client relations
  • Experience working with store operations and visual merchandising
  • Proven ability to lead organizations and people
  • Proven track record of success in client service, and client relations
  • Must have extensive understanding of client industries and the applicable industry environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent project management/operations skills
  • Must possess strong client management, communication, complex problem-solving, strategic, cost analysis, and sales skills
  • Responds to questions honestly and in a candid, straightforward manner
  • Able to turnkey all aspects of account
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Must have a strong sense of personal ownership
  • Must have a service-oriented management style - neither autocratic nor dictatorial
  • Strong analytical skills

Responsibilities

  • Works alongside the global community of Project Managers responsible for landing displays worldwide
  • Supports operational processes and execution supporting fixture launch – including coordination and communications with regions and internal stakeholders
  • Supports the Project Team with Business Case/Sell-in, Design, Planning, Installation, Certification
  • Document and drive all processes & workflow across teams and platforms (Microsoft planner + customized platforms)
  • Support regional scrum calls and capture issues, actions and appropriate follow-up as needed
  • Support installation requirements and any local needs for North America
  • Work with local install teams to ensure certifications compliance and execution excellence
  • Build relationships with Microsoft Worldwide team, provide program coordination, and implement action plans
  • Deliver on daily/weekly KPIs and annual program goals
  • Other tasks as requested by management
