About The Position

Supervises the loading and offloading of aircraft. Ensures that safe and efficient operations exist at FedEx ramp facilities. Essential Functions Coordinates with other stations on CTV movement and flight following. Selects, trains, and motivates hourly employees. Supports corporate EEO/AAP goals and objectives. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED.
• One year experience in FedEx supervisory/lead roles, ex. Ramp agent/Ops Lead/Team Lead OR
• Two years management experience (for external candidates) OR
• Completion of a certified internal leadership development program, including AiM. OR
• Bachelor's degree OR
• Twelve months general FedEx operations experience
• Strong basic management, human relations and communication skills.
• Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
• Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations.
• Must successfully complete weight and balance training if managing any trunk ramp agents.

Nice To Haves

• BUFR – Work shift will be Sunday to Thursday – PM 1400 to 2300.
• Previous Ramp knowledge preferred.
• Wil be required to complete ramp basic’s, Ramp one, Weight and Balance training.
