Supervises the loading and offloading of aircraft, ensuring the safe and efficient operations for FedEx facilities. Minimum Education - Two (2) years college/equivalent. Minimum Experience - Five (5) years business experience required, preferably including one (1) year supervisory/management experience in ramp operations or completion of a certified internal leadership development program, including AiM. - Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Ability to lift 50 lbs. - Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. - With appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. - Strong basic management, human relations and communication skills. - Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations. - Must successfully complete weight and balance training if managing any trunk ramp agents. - Subject to regulatory alcohol and drug testing which includes testing for marijuana, PCP, amphetamines, cocaine, and opiates.
