Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 7 Years of sales experience within the foodservice channel
  • Relationship Management: Initiating and developing relationships internally and externally with brokers, customers, and operators; demonstrating credibility.
  • Negotiating with Customers: Presenting issues or ideas in a clear and influential manner; effectively communicating and reaching an agreement with internal and external customers.
  • Highly organized with the ability to lead multiple projects against deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and create action plans.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Deliver profitable sales growth and monitor customer performance in order to develop action plans to address challenges and increase sales growth.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics at the distributor and operator level to achieve new opportunity growth.
  • Collaborate with existing distributors (Tier 1-3) and key account customers to build strong relationships and secure alignment to business plans (execute pricing actions, set up program/promotions, improve the overall relationship, etc.).
  • Manage GPO relationships to promote Argo/Karo more effectively through current program opportunities and analyze customer data for growth opportunities.
  • Coach Broker network toward identified region-specific goals, ensuring ACH brand education and increasing touchpoints with distributors and operators.
  • Representing the company at customer meetings, group conferences, trade shows and broker ride-withs or training
  • Handle day-to-day tier 1-3 customer questions and inquiries working with cross-functional teams to deliver answers.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop needs for key customers and buy group marketing plans and branded support elements.
  • Analyze internal sales data and external category data to identify areas of opportunity.
  • Assist with inventory planning, promotional programs, and pricing implementation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members, including Finance, Marketing, Customer Service and Demand Planning as requested or needed.
  • Perform other duties, as necessary.
