Requirements

  • Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
  • State specific dietitian license as required by State of practice.
  • Minimum 3-5 years as a Registered Dietitian.
  • Two years’ experience in the field of nutrition and/or food service management desirable.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced specialty certificate in field of nutrition preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, coordinates and directs day-to-day patient & clinical operations.
  • Assists in planning, coordinating and directing daily food service operations to ensure full compliance with federal, state and local regulatory agencies.
  • Serves as a clinical resource.
  • Participates in hiring, orienting, and education of staff.
  • Establishes and maintains policies, standards and performance improvement programs for the provision of optimal patient care.
  • Monitors clinical performance for safety, efficacy and evidence-based practice.
