As a Merchant Services Sales Enablement Lead within PNC's Merchant Services organization, you will be based anywhere within the PNC footprint. The Merchant Services Sales Enablement Lead must have a strong background in merchant services, with hands-on experience supporting sales teams. This role requires analytical skills to identify opportunities, optimize sales performance and drive impactful initiatives. Candidates should also have experience delivering training programs that enhance product knowledge and sales effectiveness. Collaborates cross-functional teams to improve business planning methods. Executes key business initiatives and growth strategies and programs that will drive line of business objectives. Demonstrates commitment to quality by delivering the CARES model to customers and/or internal partners. Responsible for executing and implementing business planning processes. Helps to designs strategic plans based on forecasts, and provides improvement recommendations. Understands business direction and needs and develops solutions, roadmaps and assessment of potential business impacts. Identifies and executes opportunities that add value to the business and to achieve business goals. Works with key decision makers to ensure cross-business and cross-functional alignment and synergy. Serves as subject matter resource and advocate that influences the implementation of best practices and learning plans that meet business objectives. Requirements

  • Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for a role.
  • Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience.
  • Specific certifications are often required.
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate familiarity with the merchant services ecosystem, including payment processors, acquirers, POS systems, pricing models, and small business payment needs.
  • Use insights and feedback to refine sales processes, identify gaps, and implement strategies that enhance performance and efficiency.
  • Deliver engaging training sessions and provide ongoing guidance to help sales teams improve performance and achieve business objectives.
  • Build compelling PowerPoint presentations, playbooks, and training materials that support sales initiatives and drive adoption of best practices.
  • Work closely with partners and internal teams to create clear, effective sales tools and resources that align with organizational goals.
