Requirements

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a merchandise operations , allocation , assistant buyer or planning role
  • Must have Microsoft Office experience including but not limited to Outlook , Word and Teams
  • Must have Microsoft Excel skills including but not limited to : Pivot Tables, V-lookup, simple formulas
  • W illing and able to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment , works well under pressure
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Must be Philadelphia Based

Nice To Haves

  • Prior retail experience is a plus
  • Experience with Bamboo Rose , RMS/Oracle , EDI and/or Business Intelligence is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills ( both written and verbal )

Responsibilities

  • Review and approve newly submitted items ensuring appropriate attributes and details are applied.
  • Audit newly created items for accuracy.
  • Support the end-to-end item lifecycle management.
  • Revise items as needed, including UPC issues, dims, new vendor , etc.
  • Audit attributes on newly created items and existing items on a daily and monthly basis.
  • Revise attributes as SKUs complete lifecycle, supporting inventory management initiatives.
  • Create Purchase Orders as needed
  • Revise purchase orders on a weekly basis for accuracy and consistency .
  • Execute and manage revisions as requested by buyers or vendors.
  • Effectively communicate new and existing purchase orders to vendors.
  • Manage EDI acknowledgments and ensure all transmissions flow for new and revised POs .
  • Communicate directly with vendors; track and manage PO s.
  • Partner with Buying and Supply Chain to identify and mitigate risk to late deliveries .
  • Communicate directly with DCs, partnering on PO resolution of issues .
  • Manage Item and PO exception reports on a daily basis
  • Coordinate and execute inventory transfers in partnership with inventory control .
  • Create and maintain SOP and training documents.
  • Train new hires and hold periodic refreshers for existing associates
