About The Position

The Mercedes Barista is responsible for preparing and serving refreshments to customers and maintaining the cleanliness of the café area. This role involves greeting dealership guests, answering basic inquiries, directing guests to the appropriate departments or salespersons, and ensuring a friendly and efficient service experience. The barista also ensures that sufficient refreshments are prepared and available.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to pay close attention to detail when conducting all essential duties.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greets dealership guests and determines the nature of their visit.
• Answers basic inquiries.
• Refers more extensive inquiries to the appropriate person.
• Directs guests to the correct department, notifies the appropriate salesperson that a customer is waiting, or introduces the customer to a salesperson.
• Prepares refreshments that are served at the Café.
• Serves customers in a friendly and efficient matter.
• Maintains Café and Lounge area cleanliness.
• Ensures that enough refreshments are ready to serve.
• Performs other related duties as required.
