About The Position

The role of the mentorship program coordinator is to plan, execute and facilitate a mentorship program that serves youth connected to Cornerstone church. By joining the Cornerstone Staff team, you and your spouse (if applicable) are automatically approved as.members of Cornerstone Church. As members you are under the leadership of our elders and we will expect and inspect your faithfulness in attending, serving, giving, and living.

Responsibilities

CREATE AND OVERSEE MENTORSHIP PROGRAM - Develop mentorship framework to serve youth
Partner with internal ministries to create pathways for youth to join mentorship program
Plan regular events for mentorship matches to attend
Partner with internal ministries to help provide wraparound care for families involved with the mentorship program
Oversee budget specific to mentorship program
Coach Mentors and Parents through situations involving mentee
MOBILIZE CORNERSTONE MEMBERS - Cast vision for mentorship program across different groups of Cornerstone members
Recruit and develop mentors to serve youth in the mentorship program
Oversee regular training for and evaluation of mentors
BENEVOLENCE - Help with City Ministries benevolence requests as available
CORNERSTONE STAFF DUTIES - Be a regular and integral part of the City Ministries
Be a regular and integral part of the general Cornerstone staff team (staff meetings, serving on Sundays, team player with needs all across church body/staff)
