About The Position

At Sheridan AllPrep Academy, we believe education should meet students where they are - academically, socially, and emotionally. Our model blends flexibility, family partnership, and personalized learning to support the whole child. We are building a candidate pool for future Mentor Teacher openings and invite educators who are excited to step beyond a traditional classroom role into one centered on relationships, mentorship, and individualized student support. The Mentor Teacher is a student-centered educator who supports K–12 students and their families in a largely remote learning environment. Rather than focusing primarily on direct instruction, this role emphasizes mentorship, progress monitoring, and partnership with families to ensure students stay engaged, supported, and on track. Mentor Teachers maintain regular communication with students and parents, provide academic guidance and resources, and help students build independence, organization, and time management skills.
