K-12 Music Teacher
About The Position
Sherman County School District is seeking a highly qualified and motivated K-12 Music Teacher to join our dedicated team. Applicants should have the ability to create a student-centered classroom, have a working knowledge of Common Core State Standards, effective teaching strategies, and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students. Prospective applicants must possess the ability to communicate with students, parents and colleagues effectively. About Sherman School County School District: The Sherman County School District is a K-12 progressive, modernized school with approximately 280 students. Located off of Hwy 97 in Moro, OR, the school is in the heart of wheat country and the Columbia River Gorge. Requirements
- Ability to create a student-centered classroom
- Working knowledge of Common Core State Standards
- Knowledge of effective teaching strategies
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students
- Ability to communicate with students, parents and colleagues effectively

- Copy of Teaching License (or eligibility to obtain)
- Minimum of three (3) Letters of Recommendation (written within the last 2 years)
