About The Position

Mental Health Therapist Our Dayton (Montgomery County) team is seeking an engaging, passionate, and experienced Therapist to provide individual, group and family counseling in the office, and/or community. Competitive pay based on licensure/education Starting pay: $26.00 and up Essential Functions:

Requirements

Professional licensure in State of Ohio as a Counselor, or Social Worker
Masters in Counseling or Social Work Preferred
One year of professional social service experience preferred
Valid driver’s license and good driving record
Knowledge of or willingness to learn and apply trauma-informed care principles

Responsibilities

Provides initial and ongoing clinical diagnostic assessment of client’s needs and documents level of care on a regular basis.
Works with multidisciplinary teams to develop and maintain treatment plans.
Provides individual and group psychotherapy services to clients and families in to stabilize symptoms of a mental health disorder.
Documents services with basic understanding of compliance and billing for regulatory bodies.
Provides crisis intervention when needed.
Provides covered services that fall within their scope of practices.
Initiates services within the expected timeframe as set by agency standards.
Completes progress notes and service documentation per agency standards.
Meets agency monthly utilization requirements.
