About The Position

Under the direction of clinic leadership, this full-time therapist provides comprehensive mental health services for adults. Candidates are expected to be able to utilize evidenced based practices with a broad range of mental health problems, and to be comfortable using individual, group, and family treatment modalities. Tasks include intake evaluations, active outreach & engagement, ongoing therapy, crisis intervention & risk assessment, collaboration with clinic psychiatrists, coordination of care with other service providers, and required documentation.

Requirements

• Must be NYS certified LCSW Social Worker, licensed Psychologist, LMHC, or other NYS licensed mental health professional

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a hospital or community mental health agency
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Fluency in Spanish is preferred, not required
• Basic computer literacy, experience with electronic health records
