About The Position

(Outpatient Mental Health Therapists will work with our team at Bridgeview Community Mental Health Center in Clinton, Iowa.) This posting is for our Clinton Office. Bridgeview provides referrals, billing support, EHR access, AI-assisted documentation tools, office space, and administrative infrastructure, allowing contractors to focus on clinical care rather than business operations. Additional earning opportunities are available through optional after-hours on-call coverage. Independent Contractor Therapists provide outpatient mental health services to children, adolescents, and/or adults.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a mental health field (psychology, counseling, psychiatric nursing, social work, etc.).
  • Current, unrestricted initial license (tLMHC, LMSW, LPC, LSW) in Iowa or Illinois, depending on work location.
  • Master’s degree in a mental health field (psychology, counseling, psychiatric nursing, social work, etc.).
  • Current, unrestricted independent license (LISW, LMHC, LCPC, LCSW) in Iowa or Illinois, depending on work location.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and ability to learn other software.
  • Ability to physically attend to children in moments of difficulty.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct mental health evaluations and establish diagnoses
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions
  • Complete discharge planning and clinical summaries
  • Coordinate care with families, schools, medical providers, case managers, and community resources
  • Support continuity of care and appropriate transitions
  • Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation using the agency’s EHR
  • Adhere to legal, ethical, and professional standards, as well as documentation requirements associated with insurance and regulatory guidelines
