We are seeking a Mental Health Professional or Clinical Trainee to join our Children and Families team. The general purpose of the Mental Health Professional is to provide clinical services to youth and families referred to Northern Pines Mental Health Center. Essential Functions include: Intakes, diagnostic assessment, individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, crisis intervention, skills training. Provision of diagnostic evaluations and updates. Develop a treatment plan within the first three sessions (including the plan for family involvement/consultation and cultural considerations). Implement the treatment plan. Completion of a Behavior Intervention/Crisis Plan within three sessions. Complete 3rd party billing requirements, including obtaining prior authorizations, and communicating with the NPMHC billing office as needed. Completion of paperwork within 24 hours of service delivery. Clinical supervision of the mental health practitioners or behavior aides ensuring compliance with the treatment plan through treatment plan reviews as primary clinician Schedule and attend individual treatment plan reviews (every 90 days). Liaison with the schools, social services, court services, medical agencies, mental health providers, managed care organizations and the community at large. Participate in the referral process. Provide leadership in the intake process involving appropriate multi-disciplinary team members. Crisis intervention services as requested.
