Hourly rates from $16.00 - $24.78 per hour based on education and relevant experience + generous additional pay of $2.00 to $4.00 per hour depending on the day and shift - see below for shift details Are you drawn to helping young people who may be struggling with life or past trauma and abuse? Our Behavioral Health Techs (BHT/MHT) use a TRAUMA INFORMED CARE APPROACH to working with adolescents. We will teach you how to apply these principles in an effective and positive manner so you can help us change lives! Empathy and Trauma Informed Care - Compassionate listening and re-directing negativity to ensure the resident feels safe which helps them towards healing past trauma. Modeling and Coaching - Working together in a collaborative environment with their peers helps promote pro-social skills and improves their self-esteem. Safety and Security - Consistent engagement and supervision of the residents is a priority that will ensure safety and provides much needed routines. FULL TIME SHIFTS AVAILABLE - Weekend Shift: Fri. & Sat (6am - 2pm) and Sun & Mon (2pm - 10pm) + choose your own 8 hr shift (40 hrs per week) + $4.00 per hr shift differential Fri - Sun & $2.00 per hr Mon Evening Shift: Tues - Sat (2pm - 10pm) +$2.00 per hr differential Tues - Thurs & $4.00 per hr Fri & Sat

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED REQUIRED; Bachelors' degree preferred, but not required, in a human service field or working toward a degree
MUST be at least 21 years of age or older to apply
MUST be able to pass a criminal history background check and drug screen

Consistency - being a dependable and consistent presence that our residents can count on
