Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience working with individuals who have challenging behaviors, such as physical or verbal aggression, property destruction, or self-injury.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Physical stamina to stay on your feet, walk, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Basic computer skills for tracking progress and documentation.
• Good communication skills (reading, writing, and verbal) to document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with team members.

Nice To Haves

• Passion for Helping Others: Experience with mental health conditions (e.g., bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, depression, anxiety) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily activities like personal care, meal prep, transportation, housekeeping, and laundry, while fostering independence.
• Utilize skills to help individuals overcome behavioral challenges, offering compassionate, person-centered care.
• Maintain a clean, safe space that ensures comfort and support while helping individuals reach their personal goals.
• Provide supervision, positive reinforcement, and guidance to help individuals achieve their aspirations.
