Mental Health Program Manager (MHPD) Up to $5000 sign on bonus
About The Position
At Dungarvin, we are a mission-driven team rooted in respect, response, and choice, dedicated to providing person-centered supports to individuals living with intellectual or developmental disabilities or other complex medical needs across 15 states. This role involves the coordination and supervision of one to two residential programs that specialize in supporting individuals with challenging behavioral and mental health needs. As a Mental Health Program Director, your key priorities include supervising and training mental health specialists and ensuring all aspects of the program are developed, implemented, coordinated, and monitored to the highest degree possible.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience supervising programs that oversee services for people with behavioral and serious persistent mental health needs
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Current auto liability insurance with reliable transportation
- Designated Manager status per 245D licensing
Nice To Haves
- A four-year degree in behavioral science, or related field
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise one to two residential programs that specialize in supporting individuals with challenging behavioral and mental health needs
- Supervise and train mental health specialists
- Ensure all aspects of the program are developed, implemented, coordinated, and monitored to the highest degree possible
- Ensure all direct service shifts in their programs are filled by staff who have met Dungarvin conditions of employment and have been adequately oriented and trained to perform their jobs
- Be always on-call, unless prior arrangements have been made for someone of comparable authority to receive emergency calls
- Occasionally work direct service shifts, normally not exceeding 16 hours per week
- Notify supervisor in advance if working more than 16 hours of direct service in any work week
