Mental Health Counselor – Women’s Mental Health Program 📍 Lake Ariel, PA | 💰 $26 – $32 per hour | 🕒 Part-Time | On-Site About Us Silvermist Poconos, part of Pyramid Healthcare, is a premier primary mental health program dedicated to supporting adult women on their path to recovery. Our trauma-informed team provides a structured, evidence-based, and compassionate environment where meaningful healing happens every day. Position Summary We are seeking a part-time Mental Health Counselor to provide clinical services for women with mental health and co-occurring needs. This role includes conducting assessments, facilitating therapy sessions, and collaborating with a supportive multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
- Active Pennsylvania licensure at the Master’s level (LCSW, LPC, LMFT)
- CPR, AED, and First Aid certification (may be completed upon hire)
Nice To Haves
- Experience with trauma, eating disorders, mental health, or co-occurring disorders
Responsibilities
- Complete assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions
- Document treatment interventions and progress in the Electronic Clinical Record (ECR)
- Participate in case reviews, program development, and staff trainings
- Support aftercare planning and discharge processes
- Provide crisis intervention and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment
