Mental Health Counselor – Full Time (PHP) Location: High Focus Centers – Lansdale, PA Salary: $53,000 – $55,000 per year High Focus Centers, a trusted provider of outpatient behavioral health treatment in southeastern Pennsylvania, delivers individualized, evidence-based care through our specialized programs: Rehab After Work, The Light Program, and Seeds of Hope. We proudly serve both adults and adolescents addressing mental health, eating disorders, and co-occurring disorders in structured, supportive environments. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Mental Health Counselor to join our team in Lansdale, PA, providing care within our Adult Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This position offers a consistent Monday–Friday daytime schedule in a collaborative clinical setting. Position Overview The Mental Health Counselor provides clinical services to adult clients (18+) participating in our PHP level of care. In this role, you will facilitate group therapy, provide individual sessions as clinically appropriate, complete assessments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to support each client’s recovery and treatment goals.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related human services field
  • Completion of a clinically focused internship or practicum

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with adults in PHP, IOP, or other higher levels of behavioral health care
  • Experience working with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on emotional regulation, coping skills, and recovery-oriented topics
  • Provide individual therapy sessions as clinically appropriate
  • Complete intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and level-of-care recommendations
  • Develop and update individualized treatment plans based on client progress and clinical needs
  • Collaborate with families (when appropriate), referral sources, and internal team members to ensure coordinated care
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with program and regulatory standards
  • Participate in treatment team meetings, case reviews, and professional development activities
  • Support program objectives while maintaining a therapeutic, client-centered environment
