About The Position
Defy Medical is an integrative specialty clinic providing primary care, hormone therapies, weight-management, and other wellness-focused services with a concierge approach. Many treatments are offered across the US through a national telemedicine service, allowing providers and patients better quality of life by delivering complete end-to-end care remotely. The clinic operates on a cash basis, not accepting insurance, to offer affordable access to healthcare. Defy Medical is seeking an experienced practitioner to join its network of healthcare providers and expand access into new territories, offering the ability to work remotely and focus more on patient interaction.
Requirements
- Active license
- Must be in good standing with medical board
- Must have adequate equipment for telemedicine, software is provided
- Must commit to working on set deadlines
- Comfort communicating with patients using various channels including phone and video calls

- Practitioners with multi-state licensing will be given preference
Responsibilities
- Review laboratory results and address critical values
- Provide consultation and treatment for Primary care/acute conditions
- Provide consultation and treatment for Diabetes mellitus
- Provide consultation and treatment for Erectile dysfunction
- Provide consultation and treatment for Weight-management
- General laboratory review
- Assist staff with the review of symptoms, history, condition, and treatment (PE, ED, general)
- Refer patients to other physicians or appropriate resources when and if needed
- Maintain a positive “bedside” manner and build rapport with patients through video, messaging, and phone communication
- Enter and maintain appropriate records using our EMR system
- Always maintain strict patient confidentiality
- Assist with follow-up care of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) patients, to include Review of laboratory results
- Monitor critical values (H/H, E2, PSA)
- Medication adjustments
- General patient education about nutrition, lifestyle, and stress
- Consult patients to answer questions about their medication or care plans
- Assist with HRT diagnosis and care plans
- Assist with peptide therapies and fertility
