Premier Senior Living, LLC is a leader in providing Assisted Living and Memory Care services to Seniors. We have 7 communities in three states including NY, OH and PA. The Memory Support Recreational Therapist / Activity Leader will plan, organize, and direct a program of activities, with the focus on dementia, which provides opportunity for entertainment, exercise, relaxation, expression and fulfils basic psychological, social and spiritual needs of the residents. Create an ongoing calendar of activities. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license. Required to load, unload and drive residents on the facility bus to outings. Highschool diploma or GED is a must. Must be willing to pursue certifications related to memory care and activities or two years' experience in a social or recreational program within the past five years in which one year was a fulltime in a resident activities program in an assisted living community or related health care setting. Must be able to work every other (and occasional) weekend(s), extended shift hours as needed, holidays and on short notices. Must have First Aid certification upon hire or obtained during orientation. Reports to the Executive Director. This is a full time position starting at $16.00 - $19.00/hour. The working hours are 12:00pm-8:00pm.

Requirements

Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
