About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Memory Care Support Partner for Vitalia Senior Residences at Westlake. This full-time role involves providing empathetic care and support to residents in a home-like environment. The position focuses on creating meaningful connections, understanding individual resident needs, designing engaging activities, and assisting with all aspects of daily life from morning to night. The role also includes documenting resident care and changes in condition, and assisting with the orientation of new team members in memory care neighborhoods. Arrow Senior Living manages 34 senior living communities across 6 states, offering independent living, assisted living, and memory care services.

Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • High school diploma, or equivalent
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with Residents
  • Positive and energetic attitude
  • Possess computer skills to be able to print documents and enter information about Residents
  • Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day
  • Must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall
  • Must be criminally cleared

Responsibilities

  • Be an “Advocate of Empathy:” Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments
  • Be a Patient Observer: Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are
  • Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success
  • Be a Master of the Mise en Scène: Set the stage for a successful day, including preparing dining rooms, setting up events, and preparing resident rooms for nighttime routines
  • Be a Life Partner: Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep
  • Be excellent at documenting resident care and changes in condition
  • Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods
