About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Memory Care Support Partner for Vitalia Senior Residences at Westlake. The role is described as being an "Advocate of Empathy" by creating human connections with residents, a "Patient Observer" by discovering residents' interests and creating engagement plans, a "Master of the Mise en Scène" by setting up the environment for a successful day, and a "Life Partner" by assisting residents with daily life activities. Arrow Senior Living manages 34 senior living communities across 6 states, offering independent living, assisted living, and memory care, and employs nearly 2,200 individuals. Requirements

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
High school diploma, or equivalent
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with our Residents
Positive and energetic attitude who will LOVE our Residents
Possess computer skills to be able to print documents and enter information about our Residents
Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day
Must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall
Must be criminally cleared

Responsibilities

Be responsible for understanding the importance of empathy
Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments
Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are
Collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success
Set the stage for a successful day, from preparing the dining room for breakfast to setting up the library for an event, to preparing the resident’s room for their nighttime routine
Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep
Be excellent at documenting resident care and changes in condition
Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods
