About The Position

Marin Country Club is looking for a Membership Experience Coordinator! We're looking for a self-starter who thrives on variety, adapts quickly, and enjoys being the "Swiss Army knife" of our operation. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented generalist with strong people skills, capable of juggling multiple priorities while keeping member satisfaction at the forefront. Position Overview The Member Experience Coordinator plays a central role in ensuring our members enjoy an exceptional experience at every touchpoint. This is a highly visible, front-facing position that works closely with members and guests, supporting all aspects of Membership, Club events, and recreational activities.

Requirements

  • Previous hospitality, club, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills-both in person and in writing.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, member-focused environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new software.

Responsibilities

  • Lead new member onboarding, tours, and welcome experiences.
  • Maintain accurate membership records and databases.
  • Support member communications including emails, newsletters, and updates.
  • Address member inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Serve as liaison between members and management, analyzing feedback to recommend operational improvements.
  • Develop standard operating procedures for member communications and events.
  • Coordinate the planning, organizing, and executing of Member events.
  • Develop and implement member engagement strategies in collaboration with leadership.
  • Serve as a welcoming, knowledgeable point of contact for members and guests.
  • Build positive relationships with members through daily interactions.
  • Prepare and analyze reports on member engagement and participation trends.
  • Proactively seek feedback to improve member satisfaction.
  • Exercise independent judgment in prioritizing projects and resolving member-related issues.
  • Contribute to annual membership and event planning strategies
  • Manage scheduling, calendar coordination, and internal communications.
  • Coordinate cross-departmental projects and initiatives.
  • Maintain supplies and organization in member-facing areas.
  • Responsible for managing vendor communications and ensuring service quality aligns with club standards.
  • May oversee part-time or seasonal event support staff or interns.
  • Support the Assistant General Manager/Membership Director on any projects as needed.
