Membership Director
About The Position
The YMCA at North Rutherford is seeking a Membership Director to join the YMCA of Middle Tennessee team. This role is for a people person with leadership and community-building skills, focused on creating meaningful connections and driving exceptional member experiences. The director will oversee day-to-day membership services operations, lead a team, and manage membership sales, retention, corporate partnerships, and fundraising. The position also involves representing the Y in the community and fostering lasting relationships, aiming to ensure the center is a welcoming space for all.
Requirements
- Minimum Age: 18
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in membership services
- Experience in face-to-face fundraising
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Membership software training (provided upon hire within two weeks)
- CPR/First Aid/AED and Listen First training (provided upon hire within 60 days)
- Adult Mental Health First Aid (provided upon hire within six months)
Nice To Haves
- A four-year college degree is preferred
- YMCA experience
