About The Position

Pledge Insurance Network (PIN) a Farmers Mutual Hail (FMH) company, is looking to hire a Membership Coordinator to build PIN by recruiting, onboarding and managing relationships with insurance agent network members. Responsible for generating membership sales and executing program operations. Supports and serves as the point of contact for member agents.

Requirements

  • Experience working within sales, business development, training and/or agency department is necessary.
  • Experience working within or closely with independent insurance agents/agencies is required.
  • Strong understanding of how the insurance industry operates.
  • Associate’s Degree in Risk Management and Insurance, Business Administration, Finance, or related degree (Bachelor’s Degree preferred).
  • Experience utilizing at least one CRM system is needed.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Sells memberships to FMH’s insurance network, PIN, by identifying and engaging independent insurance agencies.
  • Develops, maintains, and grows a pipeline of suitable potential members by researching, reviewing and analyzing agency prospects. Keeps organized and consistent records and documentation of all leads and recruitment details.
  • Negotiates and executes member agreements. Assists new and existing members in getting appointed with various insurance carriers and getting them market access as needed. Represents members by acting as a liaison between member agencies and insurance carriers.
  • Integrates agency books of business into PIN by communicating with carriers, managing code assignments and generating new subcodes as needed.
  • Utilizes a variety of strategic communication methods to engage potential and current agency members such as calling, emailing, visiting in person, social media, brand campaigns, etc.
  • Provides strategic support to membership agencies by helping them develop growth strategies, performance benchmarking, and access to PIN’s resources and relationships.
  • Creates and utilizes PIN’s tools and/or dashboard(s). Provides onboarding and guidance for new members including setting up access to these technologies or platforms. Educates members on PIN’s tools such as comparative raters, agency management software and marketing platforms by creating training materials.
  • Develops and oversees PIN website. Updates, maintains and creates content and pages as needed. Collaborates with marketing department on content and social media strategy.
  • Participates in and serves as the primary representative of PIN at industry related conferences, trade shows, company functions and/or agency functions.
