About The Position

Driftwood Downtown is seeking a Member Services Concierge to join the Member Services Department. The Member Services Concierge is the initial point-of-contact for members and their guests, and is responsible for providing exceptional experiences, communication, and memories for members, guests, and prospects throughout their time at the Club. The Member Services Concierge will assist with greetings, reservations, and overall member experience and satisfaction. In this role, you will be part of creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and fellow employees.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent. College degree in hospitality, communications/marketing, or public relations preferred.
  • At least 6 months of prior hospitality experience, customer service, and telephone experience.
  • Must have an outgoing & well-spoken personality be able to clearly interact verbally with members and guests.
  • Must be responsible, dependable, outgoing and friendly, as well as patient and courteous with members/guests and other co-workers.
  • Experience with Word, Excel, Google, Power Point, Outlook, Email, and a willingness to learn new computer programs that the Club utilizes.
  • Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.
  • Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service and communication at all times with members/ guests and team members.
  • Greet all members / guests politely, promptly, and accurately. Proactively anticipate needs to enhance experience and demonstrate sense of urgency while responding to guest needs during all interactions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas at all times, complete daily / closing procedures, and adhere to food safety and TABC standards.
  • Be aware of public cell phone usage protocol and social media regulations regarding our members and guests.
  • Support Member Services Manager with Club admin, private member events, Club events and incoming calls.
  • Check identification for legal drinking age, refuse entry for intoxicated persons, and deal with aggressive behavior or non-compliance with statutory or establishment rules, with the support of management.
  • Ensure all members / guests are entered into entry log and end of day report appropriately.
  • Manage reservations for food, events, and club amenities.
  • Maintain accurate food and valet logs and charging procedures.
  • Create and maintain member profiles and preferences.
  • Support Member Services Manager with members' onboarding.
  • Work with Member Services Manager and Driftwood Golf and Ranch Club Member Services Team to maintain and update list of trusted local area vendors, stores, and services to recommend to members / guests when requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.
