Candidates must have a suitable space at home they can use for work, along with reliable high-speed internet. Role Mandate The Member and Volunteer Coordinator supports the success and sustainability of IIBA’s global chapter network and volunteer community by coordinating essential administrative processes, providing responsive operational support, and delivering meaningful community engagement initiatives. This role ensures chapters, volunteers, and Special Interest Groups (SIGs) have the guidance, tools, and resources needed to thrive. The coordinator plays a central role in chapter lifecycle management while also administering volunteer and chapter recognition programs, supporting regional meetings, assisting with IIBA webinars, and managing community-generated content. Through close collaboration with chapter leaders, volunteers, IIBA staff, and external partners, this position strengthens community experience, operational consistency, and the visibility of contributions across the global network.

  • Comfortable working with digital tools, content management systems (CMS), ticketing platforms (e.g., Jira), and webinar platforms.
  • Spanish language proficiency would be a definite asset.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the administrative processes for chapter start-up and closure.
  • Create, distribute, and track chapter interest surveys using CMS reporting.
  • Respond to chapter operations support tickets and ensure timely and accurate follow-up.
  • Directly interact with chapter leaders to answer questions, resolve issues, and address outstanding action items.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of chapter and member policies, guidelines, and resources.
  • Assist with regional meeting planning, deliverables, documentation, and follow-up; attend regional meetings as required.
  • Provide resources and ongoing support for all Special Interest Groups (SIGs).
  • Log and track incoming community-contributed submissions to ensure timely processing and follow-through.
  • Assist with the administration of IIBA webinars, including scheduling, coordination, and support tasks.
  • Support IIBA-facilitated webinars by assisting presenters, managing logistics, and ensuring smooth delivery.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of Global Business Analysis Day activities and deliverables.
  • Create volunteer and chapter recognition assets, including certificates, emails, chapter newsletter content, and milestone celebrations.
  • Manage the annual awards program for volunteers and chapters, including communications, logistics, and recognition of nominees, finalists, and winners.
  • Manage and follow up on open Jira tickets to ensure prompt resolution with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the success of chapters, volunteers, and IIBA community initiatives.
