We are seeking an experienced Medication Technician (Med Tech) who is passionate about delivering quality care while being part of a collaborative and supportive clinical team. Full-time and part-time opportunities available What You’ll Do As a Medication Technician, you play a key role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of our residents. Responsibilities include: Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders Monitor, document, and report changes in resident condition Review physician orders and coordinate follow-up care Support caregivers by providing clear direction on resident care needs Assist in coordinating medical appointments and care services Collaborate with Home Health and Hospice providers Help maintain a calm, safe environment while minimizing unnecessary hospital transfers Ensure proper inventory and ordering of clinical supplies Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members Leadership & Team Support Provide guidance and oversight to caregivers during your shift Assist with shift assignments and coverage needs Support onboarding and training of new team members Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment Partner with nursing leadership on care quality and performance What We’re Looking For Minimum 2 years experience as a Medication Technician in Assisted Living or Memory Care Strong knowledge of medication administration and documentation Experience working with elderly residents in a healthcare setting Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to stay calm, focused, and responsive during overnight shifts A compassionate, professional approach to resident care Why The Variel Beautiful, luxury community environment Supportive leadership and team culture Opportunity for growth and development Meaningful work making a difference in residents’ lives Competitive pay based on experience Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds occasionally Ability to remain active and responsive throughout the shift Ability to communicate clearly with residents and team members Location Woodland Hills, CA Equal Opportunity Employer The Variel at Woodland Hills is an equal opportunity employer. Requirements

Minimum 2 years experience as a Medication Technician in Assisted Living or Memory Care
Strong knowledge of medication administration and documentation
Experience working with elderly residents in a healthcare setting
