Requirements

  • Active CMA I or CMA II license through the Kentucky Board of Nursing
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • CPR & First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Reliable, professional, and resident-focused

Nice To Haves

  • Senior living, assisted living, or long-term care experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications according to physician orders and Kentucky regulations
  • Accurately document medication administration and observations
  • Monitor residents for medication effectiveness and report changes
  • Communicate with nurses and care team regarding resident needs
  • Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and medication policies
  • Support residents with dignity, respect, and compassion
