About The Position

The Medication Partner position at The Parkway Senior Living in Blue Springs, Missouri, offers a home-like environment for both residents and team members. Medication Partners are also expected to proactively assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) like bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care. This part-time position offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus and a starting wage of $18.00-$21.00 per hour for a Saturday 6am-2:30pm shift. Arrow Senior Living manages senior living communities across 5 states, employing nearly 1,400 individuals and promoting internal growth.

Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must be appropriately certified per state guidelines and certification is active and in good standing (L1MA/CMA).
  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Professional in appearance and conduct.
  • Mature interpersonal skills to work effectively with co-workers.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with Residents.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Possess computer skills to be able to print documents and enter information about Residents.
  • Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
  • Must be criminally cleared.
  • Be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks.
  • Good physical health shall be verified by a health screening performed by a physician not more than six (6) months prior to or seven (7) days following employment.
  • Must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at time of health screening and annually thereafter.
