About The Position
A healthcare organization in the Lawrenceville, Georgia area is seeking an experienced Medical Technologist to support laboratory operations during overnight hours. This role plays a critical part in performing diagnostic testing that supports disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One or more of the following required: ASCP NCA AMT AAB HHS
- Minimum 2 years of experience within laboratory specialty
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory testing in accordance with established protocols
- Analyze specimens to assist in diagnosis and patient care
- Ensure accuracy, quality control, and proper documentation of test results
- Maintain laboratory equipment and follow safety standards
- Collaborate with clinical staff as needed
