About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to adult patients in a fast-paced acute care environment. The unit supports a broad range of medical and post-surgical patients, including urology, vascular, neurologic, orthopedic, and nephrology populations. This role offers strong clinical exposure, opportunities for skill development, and long-term growth within a high-acuity inpatient setting.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience (does not need to be recent)
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
• Active RN license in the state of practice or compact license
• BLS certification required upon hire

Nice To Haves

• BSN degree
• Experience in high-acuity Med-Surg or trauma-support settings
• Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments using evidence-based practice
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
• Deliver direct nursing care and supervise support staff as appropriate
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in clinical status
• Administer medications and treatments per provider orders
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
