About The Position

We are currently hiring for a full time Medical Staff Quality Specialist within the Quality Assurance And Risk Management department here at Aspen Valley Health. The Medical Staff Quality Specialist is responsible for performing data collection and analysis, focused audits and gathering clinical data for the purpose of data analysis and reporting internally and to regulatory agencies. This position coordinates all activities within the quality department, including establishment of quality indicators for departments and medical staff. The Specialist will use data collection to prepare quality and risk assessment reports and statistics to lead hospital accreditation readiness activities. Requirements

  • Associate degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date
  • National Association for Healthcare Quality - Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), or ability to obtain within two year of start date
  • At least three years of quality improvement experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience with EPIC.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's (BSN) or Master's (MSN) in Nursing preferred.
  • Experience with performance improvement tools such as QI macros, rapid cycle improvement tools (PDSA), Lean, RCA, and FMEA preferred.
