About The Position

Performs acceptance tests on new equipment and calibrates Linear Accelerators. Establishes new treatment protocols and verifies patient doses using special techniques. Supervises radiation safety and brachytherapy programs for Radiation Therapy. Performs clinic research. Performs routine dose calculations, generates simple, intermediate, and complex computerized treatment plans.

Requirements

• Masters Degree in Medical Physics with demonstrated knowledge of dosimetry
• 2 years' experience as a medical physicist or equivalent experience
• Certified ABR or ABR eligible
