About The Position

We are a Delaware-based law firm that serves both local and global clients with
business interests in the state. The firm provides practical, high-level counsel
across areas such as corporate law, litigation, bankruptcy, real estate, and
intellectual property, combining deep experience with a client-focused approach.

Requirements

• Recent experience in medical malpractice
• DE bar

Responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of medical malpractice matters from intake through resolution
• Evaluate claims and defenses by analyzing medical records, applicable standards of care, and causation issues.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and dispositive filings.
• Work closely with medical experts to establish or challenge breaches of the standard of care and causation, including preparing expert reports and deposition testimony.
• Take and defend depositions of parties, treating providers, and expert witnesses.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
