Requirements
- Bachelor degree, Medical Technology or Equivalent
- Blood Bank experience required
- Influenza Vaccinations are a requirement for employment. If you are not currently vaccinated you will be required to receive the vaccination prior to hire date, during the influenza season, if you are offered employment, unless you request and receive an approved medical exemption.
Nice To Haves
- ASCP Preferred.
- 1-2 years hospital setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Under general supervision, the Medical Lab Scientist performs all laboratory procedures as required according to established regulations, hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
- Provides and performs analytical testing and/or procedures that require independent judgment.
- Operates and maintains current instrumentation.
- Displays sufficient knowledge of the current laboratory and hospital computer systems.
