Medical Imaging Coordinator

Requirements
- Graduate of certified Radiologic Technology school and program required.
- Minimum of one year of experience in imaging and/or other clinical modality required, three years preferrered.
- Current applicable state license in Radiological Technologist Diagnostic (LRT) required.
- Current national registration in Radiography (ARRT-R) required.
Nice To Haves
- One year in a supervisory or coordinator role preferred.
- Supervisory course work and working knowledge of CQI principals preferred.
- Medical terminology preferred.
- Keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems applicable to job functions.
Responsibilities
- The Imaging Coordinator coordinates department functions to allow services to be delivered expediently and efficiently through effective organization of staff and work flow.
- Maintains knowledge of department procedures in order to provide assistance throughout the patient care continuum.
- Direct supervision is provided by the Supervisor/Manager of the department.
