This Rancho Bernardo outpatient musculoskeletal clinic is hiring an experienced Medical Front Desk / Patient Service Representative who understands scheduling, insurance verification, patient payments, and day-to-day clinic operations.
This is an onsite role for someone who can manage patient flow confidently and support administrative accuracy without constant supervision.

Requirements

• 1+ year of medical office or healthcare front desk experience
• Comfortable with insurance verification and eligibility checks
• Experience collecting patient payments
• Strong multitasking and communication skills
• Reliable transportation for occasional travel between nearby clinics
• Consistent, professional attendance

Nice To Haves

• Outpatient, orthopedic, or physical therapy clinic experience
• EMR/EHR proficiency
• Familiarity with authorizations and referral workflows
• Exposure to billing or revenue cycle processes
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Responsibilities

• Manage patient check-in and check-out
• Schedule and confirm appointments across providers
• Answer multi-line phones in a fast-paced clinic
• Verify insurance eligibility and basic authorizations
• Collect copays, deductibles, and outstanding balances
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR/EHR systems
• Coordinate with clinicians on daily patient flow
• Support administrative and compliance-related tasks
• Travel occasionally to nearby clinics if coverage is needed
