Job Summary: Provide supervision for NPs and PAs who are delivering virtual care to South Carolina patients. Ensure that all APPs are following standards and protocols set by the Chief Medical Officer. Ensure that all APPs assigned deliver quality and evidence based care. Comply with chart review and supervision policies outlined by Next Level Medical. Willing to provide supervision to Next Level APPs up to the maximum number allowed by the state medical board. General Accountabilities: Assure efficient and smooth patient visit experience. Follow company patient-care protocols. Perform complete physical exams and assessments of patients including urgent, emergent and non-urgent presentation. Selects, orders, and perform tests and procedures to augment physical findings. Define/document differential diagnoses and list differential diagnoses with most likely diagnoses included. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as deemed necessary and appropriate for plan of care. Interpret data and diagnostic results for appropriate course of action including but not limited to laboratory, radiology, EKG, etc.... Performs duties in accordance with the customary rules of ethics and conduct of the Texas Medical Board Prescribes medication doses appropriate for each patient and explains correct uses. Maintains quality, safety, and infection control standards. Exercises tact and diplomacy in dealing with sensitive, complex and confidential patient issues and situations. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work. Learns computer software programs; enters and maintains accurate data and statistical information in order to consistently prepare clear and concise reports. Supervises nurse practitioners and physician assistants. Follow company protocols and policies
