We are seeking passionate and dedicated Medical Doctors to join our team and assist in certifying patients for the Alabama Medical Cannabis Program. Alabama has legalized medical cannabis for a wide range of conditions, and we are committed to providing access to this alternative treatment option. Requirements
- Licensing: Valid Medical Doctor (MD) license to practice in Alabama.
- Certification: DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) and Controlled Substance License.
- Have at least three years of active medical practice (excluding training programs), or one year with board certification from an ABMS or AOABOS-recognized specialty.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using technology, specifically our in-house EMR system (training will be provided).
Responsibilities
- Patient Advocacy: Support patients in incorporating medical marijuana into their treatment plans.
- Comprehensive Evaluations: Conduct thorough assessments of patients for the medical cannabis program.
- Accurate Documentation: Maintain precise and up-to-date notes and medical records using our electronic medical records (EMR) system.
