Medical Assistants help doctors deliver primary health care and patient care management. Applicants should have strong interpersonal skills, be able to multi-task, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be detailed oriented. Requirements
- Medical Assistant training program degree
- One to two years of hands-on medical assisting experience preferred
Nice To Haves
- Experience with EMR is a plus
Responsibilities
- Room setup and rooming patients
- Taking vitals and recording patient's medical history
- Communicating with patients and determining medical problems
- Maintaining exam room in a clean and orderly manner for examinations and testing
- Stocking supplies and sterilizing instruments
- Providing assistance as needed in the front office
