About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Medical Assistant to support both clinical and administrative functions in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role is essential in ensuring efficient patient flow and delivering high-quality care.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience (excluding externship)
• Hands-on experience with phlebotomy and EMR systems
• Strong understanding of both front and back office workflows
• Proficiency in patient rooming, vital signs, scheduling, EKG, and POC testing
• Current BLS or CPR certification
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Record vital signs accurately
• Perform phlebotomy/venipuncture and specimen collection
• Administer vaccines and assist with basic clinical procedures
• Conduct EKGs and point-of-care (POC) testing
• Greet and assist patients in a professional manner
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
• Handle incoming calls and patient inquiries
• Maintain accurate records in EMR systems
• Communicate effectively with patients and clinical staff
• Support providers to ensure smooth daily operations
• Promote a positive and team-oriented work environment
