About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support clinical and administrative functions in an outpatient healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will assist providers with patient care, ensure smooth clinic operations, and deliver high-quality patient support services.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Completion of a formal Medical Assistant training program required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA-CMA or AMT-RMA) preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Take and record vital signs and patient histories
- Prepare exam rooms and ensure proper sanitation and stocking of supplies
- Perform basic clinical tasks and support patient care activities
- Manage patient flow and assist with scheduling and coordination
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in medical records
- Provide excellent patient service and communication
