About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Medical Physicist to support a cancer center in delivering safe and effective radiation therapy services. The ideal candidate will ensure the accuracy, quality, and safety of radiation treatments while collaborating with oncology teams.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Medical Physicist experience required
- AHA BLS certification required
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety and oncology physics practices
- Ability to work in a clinical cancer center environment
Responsibilities
- Perform calibration and quality assurance of radiation therapy equipment
- Ensure accurate delivery of radiation doses in accordance with treatment plans
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and therapists
- Conduct routine equipment testing and safety checks
- Support treatment planning and dose calculations
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards
- Document procedures, QA results, and performance reports
